A "natural wine", or natural wine, is a wine to which no additives are added during its vinification (sometimes an exception is a small dose of sulfur).

Currently there is no legislation or consensus around its exact definition. This denomination is therefore not certified. It is notably derived from grapes grown using agroecological methods (organic viticulture for example) or esoteric methods (biodynamics for example), unlike more recent agricultural methods from post-agrochemical eras.

The product of fermented grape juice obtained using various more or less traditional methods by a winemaker. From the vine grown on a given terroir, to bottling.

Vinification: manual harvesting, grapes sorted by hand upon receipt of the grapes, whole bunch pressing then separation of the runny and pressed juice. Vinification in stainless steel vats and stirring on the lees at the end of fermentation.

Vinification: skin maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 4 hours, resting and working on the bed, clearing and fermentation in indigenous yeast without the addition of sulphur, slow fermentation allowing the full potential of the grape to be respected

Nature has always applied itself to giving a language to each of its terroirs. Here is that of Languedoc, translated into the original version: a vinification without added sulfites, only with indigenous yeasts.

Vinification: Graping and crushing in the vat. Spontaneous start of alcoholic fermentation, regular pumping over, and running off of the juices before the end of fermentation. Blending then malolactic fermentation. Regular racking, aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 3 months.

In the heart of Normandy, near Saint Pierre sur Dives, are located " Les Arpents du Soleil ". A dry and warm microclimate, a south-facing hillside and exceptional soil are the recipe for the success of our vineyard present since the end of the 9th century.

Blanc : Connivence 2020

The vintage currently on sale is 2020.

Nose: Aromatic diversity with fruity notes associated with subtle aromas of butter and vanilla.

Palate: Fresh and rounded at the start of the tasting, then lovely aromas of cream and butter arrive, as well as vanilla and toasted notes. On the finish, the acidity contributes to a sensation of fluidity that tempers the generosity of the alcohol.

Conclusion: Dry white wine for laying down, good quality, complex and rich.

Blanc : Auxerrois 2023

A dry white wine, its maturity is perfect at Arpents du Soleil, where it reaches peaks of richness.
Nose: Fresh, floral, vegetal gradually revealing notes of candied mandarin and fresh butter.

Palate: Freshness, roundness, and lightness in the mouth create a broad, airy balance. The aromatic range intensifies on the finish.

Conclusion: Full of aromatic and gustatory freshness, it is a pleasant wine, easy to approach and expressive.

Blanc: le Pinot Gris 2022

The vintage currently on sale is 2022.

Visual: Beautiful lemon yellow color.

Nose: Good aromatic intensity, with mineral and fruity notes of apple, pear, and watermelon as well as some notes of hawthorn.

Palate: Dry white wine with a lovely freshness, it is mineral, with good aromatic continuity. We find aromas of pome fruits. Taut finish.

Conclusion: Lively and fresh dry white wine. (Ideal with Normandy oysters, but not only...)

Our Pinot Noirs are fermented for approximately 10 days and hand-punched for a gentle yet powerful extraction.
Aged for one year before bottling.

Nose: Flattering, pretty notes of red fruits, raspberry, cherry and morello cherry, followed by a beautiful spicy intensity, clove and black pepper.

Palate: Fresh, quite generous, with fine, dense tannins. This is a structured wine with good aromatic and gustatory continuity right through to the finish.

Conclusion: a lovely wine with a delicate body, quite indulgent, with a lovely aroma characteristic of Pinot Noir, fine tannins and appreciable length.

Rouge: Révelation 2022

Fermentation lasts around 10 days then the entire batch is aged in young barrels (maximum 3 years) to blend the tannins from the barrel with those from the stalk.

It is a rich and powerful wine for laying down.

The vintage currently on sale is 2022.

It is produced in a very confidential manner (around 700 bottles/year)

Visual: Garnet red color.

Nose: Remarkable aromatic intensity and balance of cooked red fruity notes, faded rose, blackcurrant and pepper.

Palate: Tannic structure present and balanced by a melted, fat and silky texture with good length and aromatic finish. We find aromas of black fruits and spices.
