We are delivered every morning. Each portion (approx. 1kg) cooks in its own casserole dish, so it will be prepared exactly to your liking, coated in its sauce.

Since December 2021 you have trusted us.
During these two and a half years, I was keen to cook the freshest mussels,
in the best way: the best cream, organic eggs and milk, delicious and organic coffee too..
an orange squeezing machine for morning vitamins facing the sun...
fresh vegetables and very simple desserts but homemade, a little old-fashioned... a way to rediscover the tastes that influenced my childhood in Normandy and that I like to share with you.

Our mussels come from different sources depending on the time of year. We select them carefully. One serving is approximately 1 kg.

Each portion cooks in its own casserole dish, so it will be prepared both according to a precise recipe, but yet exactly to your liking.

The mussel


Origins of mussel farming

Various stories are told about the origins of mussel farming, notably that of an Irish shipwreck, Patrick Walton, who ran aground in 1235 in Aiguillon Bay.

In order to obtain food, he began setting nets to catch birds on the coast and noticed that his wooden stakes driven into the ground were quickly covered with mussels. He made it his activity and first developed the bouchot mold, this last term would then come from his native language to designate the structure, "bout choat".

Mussels are eaten throughout the year.

The numerous mussel farming sites scattered around the world offer continuous production to all enthusiasts.
