Nikka Japanese whisky
Nikka from the Barrel is a Japanese whisky aged in Bourbon and Sherry casks, it reveals itself to be a surprising blend from a subtle mix of Miyagikyo and Yoichi single malt as well as a unique grain whisky. The very shape of Nikka From the Barrel, short and square, evokes its strong character (51.4%) and its richness in the mouth. An exceptional whisky offering olfactory sensations on the nose, notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spices and a little oak. The palate is sweet with lots of spices, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruits. As in the land of the rising sun, it asserts itself strong and balanced

Rum
Braud white rum 59°
On the nose, this rum evokes sugar cane, citrus fruits and lemon, while on the palate, it reveals vegetal notes, tea and chamomile. On the palate, it stands out for its dynamic and gourmand profile, with spicy notes of lime blossom and white flowers that add suppleness and richness. There is an iodized note that quickly manifests itself and gives way to fruity flavors of sweet almond and freesia flowers and orange blossom. In conclusion, the Rhum Blanc Agricole Braud & Quennesson 59.2° is an authentic and complex expression of the Martinique terroir, a real pleasureJm old rum 2013
DESCRIPTIONIt was under the Martinique sun that this rum was born... In a magnificent 400 hectare estate planted with sugar cane, near Mount Pelée.
On the label that adorns the bottle, a prestigious signature: JM. Only two letters, which nevertheless attract the attention of Rum Lovers… Because they know what is hidden under these two simple letters!
Here in this case a sumptuous hors d'âge rum from the 2013 vintage, aged 9 years in Bourbon barrels.
The tasting reveals the treasure: on the nose, heady notes of candied fruit, chocolate and vanilla, then on the palate, gourmet flavors of candied fruit which evolve towards vanilla and cinnamon, before ending on the beautiful promise of toasted and vanilla notes.
A remarkable balance, a pleasant roundness, here is a rum that lives up to JM's worldwide reputation, which we will enjoy sharing with other connoisseurs.
Old Neisson 45°
On the nose, we first have a metallic, coppery aspect, which highlights vegetal notes of curry and a hint of fermentation. Then the nose is invaded by black and tannic fruits. We then smell the skin of grapes or plums. The fruit tannins mix with those of the wood for a rigorous profile. Then the cane seems to flower gently, before finally breaking through and pouring its sweet juice. The tannins then melt into the golden liquid, letting the famous nuts of the house express themselves. The nose does not lose its liveliness, it is maintained by a little acidity and fine spices. When aerated, the spices are mainly represented by pepper, that of a white agricultural rum more precisely. The tannins of the wood and the nuts are powdery, catchy and fatty at the same time, with an impression of peanut butter. We then have something of a well-candied and fleshy prune.
The mouthfeel is soft and velvety, with the typical aromas of an agricultural rum, such as cane, citrus and pepper. Although it initially feels a little light, the spices heat up in crescendo, as does the woodiness, which seems well toasted. The cane and its vegetal flavors are candied and soft, the fruits are in the background. The toasted aspect reveals a mineral and clean character, before the rum melts one last time into melted tannins and very fatty nuts.
The finish sums up the whole tasting well. It is moderately long and very smooth, on nuts and especially peanuts.

Bière et limonadeMonaco
Beer, lemonade and grenadineIn case your memory is playing tricks on you, the Monaco is a cocktail made with beer, lemonade and grenadine. It is said that it owes its name to the color of these ingredients, the white of the lemonade and the red of the grenadine reminiscent of the Monegasque flag.
Tango
A tango is an alcoholic drink made from beer mixed with grenadine syrup. If you add lemonade, you get a monaco. It would be an adaptation of the snakebite cocktail, which became tango in the 1920s due to the wave caused by the dance of the same name at that time.Bottled beers & ciders
