Maria Costanza

Maria Costanza Rosso is the most intense expression of our way of interpreting the Sicilian vine par excellence, NERO D'AVOLA.

The grapes are delicately shelled and after a further manual selection they are transferred to horizontal and vertical vinificators where, after a 15-day maceration, the alcoholic fermentation is completed.

The malolactic fermentation is carried out partly in oak barrels and partly in steel.

Intense red color with violet reflections. On the nose evident floral and fruity hints attributable to morello cherries. Closes with spices and aromatic vegetables such as nettle and fig leaf. In the mouth it is soft, elegant and velvety with an exceptional persistence.

Charme Rosè (Firriato)

Charme Rosè is the delicate tribute that Borgo Guarini reserves for lovers of native Sicilian vines. On particular slopes of this hill, immersed in the Trapani countryside, the native Sicilian black grapes are selected, harvested slightly ahead of full ripening with the aim of safeguarding their aromatic load and acidity. The normal vinification in white with a brief contact with the skins gives the wine the characteristic and pleasant rosé colour, while the subsequent sparkling with second fermentation in an autoclave enhances this union making the Charme Rosé extrovert and brilliant. The silky perlage introduces persuasive aromas that are exalted in a fragrant and fresh taste: a wine with character, the ideal companion for carefree moments.
