Duvel is a golden beer, exceptionally clear thanks to the use of pale malt. It has a beautiful head, a delicate shine and a silky taste. The "D" engraved in the bottom of the glass promotes the formation of small tornado-shaped carbon dioxide bubbles.The bouquet is lively with citrus aspects, slightly inclined towards grapefruit thanks to the use of the best noble hops (Saaz-Saaz and Styrian Golding).

In 1948, Father Théodore began the first experiments with the new yeast. In 1954, the “Special Christmas” was launched just for the holidays.
